Calendula Eye Balm

  • 1 tbsp calendula infused safflower oil
  • 1/2 tbsp beeswax
  • 1 tsp. mango butter
  • 1/2 tsp. avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp. Vitamin E oil
  • 10 drops squalane
  • 5 drops lavender essential oil

  1. Create a double boiler by filling a medium sized pot 1/2 way full with water.  Place a glass measuring cup into the water.
  2. Add calendula infused oil, mango butter, beeswax and avocado oil to the glass cup and begin to heat only turning the stove top to medium heat.
  3. Once mango butter and beeswax is completely melted, remove from stove top and add vitamin E oil, squalane and lavender.
  4. Pour into designated pots and allow to cool.
This balm may be used for toning and moisturizing around the eyes and on your lips. Use sparingly as a tiny amount goes a long way.

This eye balm is fun and simple to make and you’ll notice instant hydration and possibly instant smoothing upon using it!  It has a light scent of lavender and the perfect way to end your day!  Be sure to follow my links (in the recipe) for the ingredients.  There are a lot of low quality oils/butters/waxes out there that would make for a pointless DIY.  I choose the highest quality ingredients so we can make the BEST DIYs!

xx, Jenni
